Rider Role

As a TABEX rider, you accept and deliver cash-on-delivery food orders between partner kitchens and customers in Tabogon, Cebu, as an independent contractor. These Terms & Agreement govern your use of the rider app.

Nature of the Relationship

TABEX is a digital platform that connects customers and partner kitchens with riders for cash-on-delivery orders in Tabogon, Cebu. You join and deliver as an independent contractor (a freelance delivery partner), not as an employee, agent, or joint-venture partner of TABEX. You choose when to go online, which jobs to accept, and how many deliveries to take. TABEX does not pay a salary, guarantee shifts, or provide employee benefits. You earn only for deliveries you complete. Because you are an independent freelancer, TABEX does not penalize, shadow-ban, or lower your driver rating if you choose to reject, ignore, or decline any delivery offer.

Accepting Jobs

Only accept jobs you can complete safely and on time. Once accepted, you should pick up from the kitchen and deliver to the customer landmark promptly, following in-app status steps.

Cash on Delivery

Collect the COD total shown in the app from the customer upon delivery and follow TABEX ops instructions for remittance or settlement. Do not alter amounts or invent extra fees.

Pay and Your Own Equipment

You earn the delivery fee shown in the rider app for each delivery you complete. That fee is set by TABEX ops: a flat amount inside the delivery radius, then a per-kilometer amount beyond it. The customer pays cash on delivery; the delivery fee is your trip earnings. The TABEX platform cut is deducted from your prepaid rider wallet when you mark the order delivered. You must provide, maintain, and fuel your own motorcycle, and you must supply your own phone and mobile data. TABEX does not pay for fuel, vehicle upkeep, or data. To stay active you need a working motorcycle, a phone that can run the rider app, an active data connection, and enough wallet balance to cover the platform cut. You must ensure that your motorcycle maintains a valid, up-to-date government registration (LTO) and an active insurance policy that covers your delivery operations at all times.

Location, Safety, and Assumption of Risk

While on an active delivery you may be asked to share GPS so the customer can track the order. Ride safely, obey traffic rules, and do not take unreasonable risks for speed. By using this app, you acknowledge and agree that TABEX is strictly a technological platform matching merchants, customers, and freelance courier partners. You freely assume all risks and liabilities associated with being on the road. As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for your own actions. TABEX is not responsible or legally liable for any traffic violations, accidents, physical injuries, or property damages caused by you while using the platform.

Conduct and Deactivation

Treat customers and kitchen staff with respect. Theft, fraud, harassment, fake completions, or misuse of customer data may result in immediate deactivation and possible legal action. Public safety is our priority. Any verified traffic violations, reports of reckless driving, driving under the influence, or behavior that puts the public in danger will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your app access.

Account

Keep your rider login confidential. You must be legally able to work as a delivery rider and provide accurate account details to TABEX ops.

Acceptance

Using the rider app means you have read and agree to these Terms & Agreement. TABEX may update rider terms; continued use after notice means you accept the revised terms when asked to re-confirm.
